Stirred Up

Updated: Jul 7

Sometimes we all need a little stirring in our prayer lives so that we can avoid becoming too settled or complacent. If we're not careful our prayers can become lackluster before we even realize it. We can get caught asking for the bare minimum because we limit what God can do in our thoughts. We need to supersize our faith! God answers prayers and He wants to do above and beyond what we are asking for!

Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” -Matthew 20:30

Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked. -Matthew 20:32

“Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.” Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him. -Matthew 20:33-34

Are you only asking for the bare minimum? The Bible says that we should come boldly before the throne of God and ask for what we want, and we can ask for ANYTHING the Bible has promised us! Healing, restoration, favor, anointing, prosperity, and peace, you can pray for it all to be poured into your life. Wouldn't you love to see God show up and show off in your prayer life?

The Lord said to me, ‘You are my son. Today I have become your Father. Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession. -Psalm 2:7-8

In this message, “Pray Bigger”, Pastor Joe Dobbins from Twin Rivers Church in St Louis, Mo provides us with three simple, but incredibly powerful prayers we can start praying right now to supersize our faith and stir up our prayer lives! You don't want to miss this message filled with inspiration, encouragement, and a little bit of humor too.

Now glory is to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of- infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes. -Ephesians 3:20 (TLB)

Increase your vision!

Limit your doubts.

And ask God to release the supernatural in your life!
